How Olby contributed on ShareThis Tech Team Expansion

ShareThis Inc. is a technology company headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, with offices in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. It offers tools that allow sharing of content across 40+ social channels and is used by over three million publishers globally.

Since 2019 Olby has been helping ShareThis scale its teams to deliver new products faster. Olby also brought experience in building design systems on tools like Figma, which wasn't a well-known tool back then. That was a game-changer for ShareThis, as they used their elements across multiple products. 

UI Kit, DataSphere and Publishers Platform

Olbers joined ShareThis teams' to tackle the UI Kit project, designing and engineering components used across multiple products. Because ShareThis' sharing tools are installed on over 3 million websites, reaching 100 million users every day, a wide variety of browser support was critical for their growth – including IE support back in 2019. We eventually got involved with the new ShareThis' DataSphere project, a data visualization and audience tool serving Fortune 100 clients. 

It was nice to see how, in time, we gained their trust and got involved in the early discovery stage of their new products. While we were in the beginning only executing, our partnership evolved to a point where we were planning ahead, and helping them to solve their clients' and internal teams' needs.
